Coquina Harbour Photos

Marina in Little River, South Carolina

Coquina Harbour is one of the most beautiful places on the Grand Strand to photograph. Below see the low resolution versions of some of our favorite pictures of the marina.

With tranquil surroundings, it is also one of our favorite marinas at which to spend time -- whether dining at Umberto's or at Holiday Inn's waterfront restaurant, joining other locals who walk or jog the perimeter of the marina, or checking out the latest models of SeaRays and other boats whose owners call Coquina Harbour home.

The slips at Coquina are home to a variety of watercraft -- ranging from smaller sail boats and pontoon boats
(we especially like the one with a waterslide built on top !) to multi-million dollar luxury yachts.

The lighthouse at Coquina's southern waterway entrance, although ornamental, is much more pleasant to gaze upon than the traffic jams and hurried crowds just a few minutes south.

Although the public enjoys walking and jogging around the perimeter of the marina, the docks and slips are securely gated, private, and accessible only to slip owners and their guests.

The docks as well as the walkway/jogging path around the marina are in excellent condition and well-maintained.

Both the Holiday Inn and Umbertos provide pleasurable waterfront dining views.

The Myrtle Beach Yacht Club also has an Officers Club restaurant for members.

Keep checking back with us often as we continually update this site with more information and more photos from this marvelous little marina that we fell in love with 20 years ago.
